Each school in the Covington County School District employs certified special education teachers to work with students who qualify for services and supports under IDEA. Our teachers are all highly qualified in content areas as well as knowledgeable about providing differentiation in the classroom. These men and women who have devoted their lives to teaching and have committed to our children, undergo annual training to keep them up to date and abreast of the policies and procedures under which they operate. Each one of them has chosen to seek employment with Covington County Schools, many of them have community ties, and it is safe to say that each one of them is not working for a paycheck, but rather they are devoting their lives to making a difference to the children in our district.
